Jill Quiets the Chatter

Here's an update from Jill, who used these photos as motivation to feel good about her food choices, as others around her shared dessert recipes.
Before June 2012 vs today
It seems like everyone on Facebook is posting dessert recipes and talking about going to DD for their fall treats.

I wanted to make their chatter quiet down, so I found 2 stuffed sausage size 18 pictures of me and put it next to me in my new size 6 skinny pants I wore today.

A pumpkin muffin does not taste as good as thin feels, so shhhhhhhhh....

  2. Nice solution. I try not to even pay attention to the food posts because no one ever posts anything healthy. I have, on occasion, taken a few food shots and posted them just so people know I'm not starving myself and that what I'm eating is good food, but yeah. if there is one thing that could possibly disarm me it's Dunkin Donuts, particularly one specific kind of Dunkin Donut so it bothers me too when I see people posting that stuff. I just remind myself that eventually I'll be able to split *A* donut with my son and just having a taste of it will be very satisfying. Until then, I'll be keeping a store of "before and during" pics to launch as counter-measures. Thanks for the idea. :-)

  3. Such a difference, CONGRATS! I agree, nothing feels as good as thin...I'm getting there.

Just got a windbreaker from work...XL!!! This is huge for me because I always have to order larger size due to misproportioned top and bottom.
