Cauliflower Pizza is Great!

I tried the cauliflower pizza finally AND did not tell my hubby that crust is cauliflower....he loved it! He hates cauliflower.Too much cheese in recipe so i will adapt it next time. I used Canadian bacon, sauteed onions and mushrooms, raw slices green pepper and tomato and shredded basil. The crust looks and feels like bread-pizza crust.Next i will try steamed mussels which i have never made but need change from meat.

  1. I haven't ventured into the cauliflower pizza yet, but I hear wonderful things about it. Sounds yummy though!

  2. I made the pizza and let's just say that it's NOT pizza. It tasted to me like a really well-cooked omelet. My suggestion - skip this fat-filled "crust" and have the pizza, but just the top. It's not pretty, but I scrape the cheese, tomatoes meats and toppings onto my plate and eat it with my salad. You get the taste of REAL pizza and it's a lot less labor intensive.

  3. Lynne, I've really recommend the meat crust pizza:

I made it last week in a new way - with pesto paste (found in veggie section in a tube) mixed into the meat - it was fabulous!
