  1. Hi I have been on the program for 6 weeks and I'm loving it! I do have a question regarding "Siggi's Yogurt" I remember Julie saying we could have it but I'm just not sure if we can only have it once or twice week and do we need to have it with protein? Can you help me...Thanks Mary

    1. I have another question about the Siggi's. I just finished the three sessions and we were introduced to the Siggi's. Cane we have any flavor, or only the plain?
      Thank you

I am not sure if I am posting in the right area, but I have been following your blog since I have been put on the waiting list in December. I received the call last week and I will be going to see Julie for my first visit on May 24th. I am a bundle of nerves about everything. I am nervous because I have been overweight most of my life, and I want this to work. I am worried because the person I live with has very bad eatting habits, and I am worried about spending all of this money and not being successful. Do you have any advice for someone like me who has not yet been to a session and is very nervous.
    Thank you.

    1. Aloha and welcome to my blog. You can post a comment from any page, but to help you get more responses from others, I'm going to post your question for you.

Anytime after you go to your first session, please consider becoming a contributor, which means you can then write posts (instead of only comments), so you can share your journey with the rest of us. If you don't want to do this, that's fine, but I know I'd love to hear from you as you progress if you're willing to share.

Meanwhile, I'll post your comment so you can start hearing feedback from others.

      Hello,
I just did my first session also yesterday.. i am a bit confused can someone help guide me... i know i have to eat protein with veg but can i just eat protein ?

    3. Hi Kristen, yes you can just eat protein. But do eat veggies also at times. They are what will give you vitamins and stuff that you need. After all 3 sessions it will all make sense!

Welcome!!! This is one of the greatest journeys!!!

I think I am hitting a Brick Wall. It seems my weight Loss has gone way down since the start. I have not gone off the program once wether it be Carbs or Sugar, but not seeing any new results. What is the average time it would take to lose 80+ pounds??? I am changing things up daily but I may be eating a little to much at each sitting. If anyone can offer help that would be great. Thanks in advance for any help given.

  5. I just joined but I am not sure where to start? So I will try asking my questions here. Or should I go back to my email and start from there??
Anyway I started with Julie on May 5th and I was a size 16/18. I am now a size 10!!! Yeah but I am scared to death about adding the potato. I went to a maintenance session and Julie didn't really talk to much about the process. She needed to explain some of the changes she was making in the program. I read your explanation using the river and that has helped. As far as the potato goes can we cook it any way we want? FRIED?? I understand that we first have potato then grains then flour but I guess never together, correct?
I have to admit I get very confused sometimes beacuse I thought I heard her say we would eventally be hypnosis free but then I hear her say people still have to come back for more refreshers because they have gained to much weight once they start to wean off the program. I guess I am just stuck on the question of will I ever be able to eat a few of my favorite foods once in a while without spiraling out of control.
I think I also heard that if you cheat a little and break the hypnosis that you will gain weight even if you go back to eating just meat and veggies. Is this true??? I am sorry for all the ???s but I have been pondering them for awhile and it is just to hard to ask in a session.
Plus I never hear anything mentioned about fruit???? Thanks Pam

I have been to 2 sessions. My third is next week. I am really struggling. I am staying on program to the best of my knowledge. I feel guilty using ketchup and BBQ sauce has condiments. They are sweet and I feel guilty for enjoying their sweetness.

Also, I am sad, angry. I want to be like others and enjoy a piece of cake or chocholate. I went out with a bunch of friends and we ended up at a bakery. Everyone enjoyed a treat except me. Am I never ever going to enjoy a slice of apple crisp, birthday cake?

Can I use Lipton soup onion mix(not dry) but mixed in a crockpot with beef and tomato sauce? Is this allowable on the program?

    3. I would love to hear the answers to Pams questions...also..what is the river?

  7. Hi Anonymous...I saw your post from Oct 17 about having gone through your first two sessions but having issues about feeling unable to eat treats and when you'll be able to.
I had the same feelings..i was feeling really anxious and deprived and wondering how will it all pan out..I have been to all three sessions and it all becomes clear on that last one.
I worried for nothing because Julie has a plan...i won't go into any detail here as you should hear it for yourself from her. It was eye opening though and really made me feel in control of myself.
I was having a really hard time, I think because the Big E was coming and I was upset I couldn't eat my way through it (sad I know) I was imaginging all the things i wasn't going to be able to have...well i went to the Big E three times and had a lot of fun. As for eating..it took a backseat and I didn't mind ..I did look at all the things I usually would eat and that my husband and kids were eating but I ate the BBQ chicken dinner from the Lions club at the end of the state building road..it came w/ salad and corn on the cob..perfect! Then I had a shaved steak sandwich the next time I went...just ate the middle...and a chicken and salmon shish ka bob the next time. So I felt that I truly could eat on plan wherever I was. Now it's been almost two months and I feel much better...lighter...everyone says they can see I have lost weight ...I bought the next size down in pants and am feeling that I'm finally in control of getting this weight off...for the past 7 years all I did was gain. My only anxiety is that i know it will take close to a year to get to my goal weight and will I be able to stick to this way of eating for a whole year. I'm trying not to look at it like that but rather one day/week at a time...I have a massage coupon my husband gave me from the gym and once i make it 3 months eating this way I'll use it...then I'll find something else to use as a reward for the next goal. I will probably go for a refresher with Julie in Dec since thats when the most tempting things will be around ...also i saw that you had a question about Lipton soup mix..I've used the dry kind in hamburgers but not the liquid...I don't see why you coulnd't use it..it's not cream based and I would imagine is only has broth, onions and maybe spices in it? If that's the case I would use it. Although they said you could call the office anytime to ask questions. Hope all my rambeling helped in some way :)

I asked Julie specifically about the Lipton Onion Soup being used in meatloaf and she said yes, it's allowed.

Hi, I just found this site and it's a WONDERFUL place to get information. I have been on this program since June, I have gone from a size 14 to a size 6. I work out every day and feel GREAT. I have had only two minor slips and I hope this hasnt affected me loseing anymore weight? On two occasions I have had to much Vodka and proceded to eat 3 sweet & salty ganola bars, I NEVER crave this type of food anymore but my judgement was gone. I feel horrible for eating them and I havent eaten anything else bad since. My question is is my hypnosis gone? Can I still lose weight following the program? Does anyone drink wine and still have sucess? Vodka is just a little much for me!

  11. I have been on the program since the fall and it is amazing. I enjoy your blog, it does keep me motivated. I am almost at my goal and about ready for maintenance but can't remember how long that lasts? Also, is there a fb page as well?

    1. Hi Calvad! Congratulations on being almost at goal!! How exciting!!!! You may want to go to a refresher to hit the points of maintenance. It is a long process, and the most important process of locking in the new high and low numbers.

I myself am not on the facebook page. I left it as there were to many opinions and to much controversy for me. If there is some one reading this blog who can put you in, hopefully they will post.

I am waiting for Julie's new website. As soon as it is up, we will let everyone know!

Are cream cheese and sour cream allowed? And lots of folks talk about the "river" - I don't remember that mentioned. I've only been to the first 2 sessions so maybe it's coming in the 3rd?

    ReplyDelete
  13. Yes, in small amounts and always with meat.

Remember this: cream cheese and sour cream are to be treated as condiments and always with meat.

Since the program changes over time, you may want to verify this is what Julie teaches today.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Oh - about reference to "the river" - the river is an analogy for staying on the program. You'll learn more about the river in your third session.

Best to you in your journey ahead!
