Cold season is upon us. If you don't know this already - Fisherman's Friend cough drops are key friendly. Some people find them too strong, and I did at first, but I got used to them. Sometimes I don't finish them, the flavor kind of burns, but they're our only option and when you need a cough drop, this is better than nothing. Sometimes they're hard to find, but Stop and Shop and Walmart always have them.

I also found this great tin at Walmart, which I love! |
Brain freeze alert: Don't drink cold water after one, it is an instant (and painful) brain freeze! LOL
ReplyDeleteI remember why Julie said we could use these-maybe others remember as well? They were introduced around the same time as she is talking about our way of eating-and were intentionally made to help with sore throats-the stuff on the market now is full of preservatives and sugar I guess (I don't read labels, so am unsure, but that's ok)....I just think it is really neat that a product that was made a hundred or so years ago is still on the market! I wonder if they have noticed that their sales have increased around here like Siggis noticed? Glad to help the small companies!
ReplyDeleteThey even had these in Italy!! I saw them everywhere!!
ReplyDeleteI echo what Chris said, Do not drink water after sucking on one of them!!!!!!
I need to remember to stock up on these BEFORE I need them!
